Kizzy Rodney, MA
Founder, Loqui Strategies Inc. Presence and Clarity Coach. Organizational Strategist. Workshop Facilitator.
The short version
Kizzy Rodney is a coach, facilitator, and strategist with a career built at the intersection of education access, workforce development, and leadership. She founded Loqui Strategies to bring that work under one practice.
Her background spans senior executive leadership, institutional strategy, and direct community service. She is the creator of the SETAR Method.
Where the work comes from
Kizzy spent more than a decade in post-secondary education and training access, removing barriers for people who, without intentional support, would not otherwise reach post-secondary education and training in Toronto.
That work shaped how she reads institutions. It taught her what a policy looks like from inside a boardroom, what the same policy looks like from the receiving end, and how wide the gap between the two usually is.
She has since delivered programs for Seneca Polytechnic, Toronto Metropolitan University, Niagara College, the YMCA, North York Community House, and the Town of Aurora. She coaches individuals through career transitions, works with HR teams to design humane workforce transition programs, and partners with institutional leaders to build strategy that is grounded and actionable.
How she works
- Evidence before encouragement. The frameworks are grounded in established research in psychology, leadership development, and professional identity. When the research does not support a claim, the claim gets cut, including when it would have been a better line.
- Behaviour over sentiment. Every diagnostic asks what you did, not how you felt. Feeling follows evidence.
- Direct, then supportive. You will get an honest read on your situation. Most senior professionals are surrounded by people who have stopped giving them one.
- Structure you own. Institutions keep the frameworks, definitions, and documentation the engagement produces. The goal is capability inside your organization, not dependence on an external one.
On stage
Kizzy is a keynote speaker and a trusted advisor to organizations navigating change. Her sessions draw on lived executive experience and grounded research, and they are built around what an audience can apply immediately.
She speaks at professional development days, conference keynotes, convocation addresses, leadership summits, and staff events.
Why this practice exists
Most of the people who arrive here are not short on capability, knowledge, or track record. They have all three. What they have lost is the conviction that their read on a situation is worth bringing fully into the room.
That is a learned response, and learned responses can be unlearned with the right structure. Building that structure is the work.
